HiyoshiyaA light from Hiyoshiya, a well-established manufacturer of Japanese umbrellas. Moving the central ring up and down changes the shape of the shade. Umbrella ribs are actually used here, and the shade is opened and closed in the same way an umbrella is so the atmosphere of shadows falling in the room change. This design was accomplished precisely because it was created for an umbrella manufacturer.

和傘の老舗である日吉屋の照明です。中央のリングを上下するとシェードの形が変わります。実際の傘の骨が使われており傘を開閉するようにシェードが開閉し、部屋に落ちる影の雰囲気を変えます。傘のメーカーだからこそ実現したデザインです。
